Steve Kanters, PhD, MSc

Steve Kanters is the Founder of RainCity Analytics and an internationally recognized expert in network meta-analysis, health technology assessment (HTA), and global health research. He previously led biostatistics and research methods teams at Doctor Evidence and Precision Health Economics, where he built and scaled high-performing analytics functions.

Steve has led complex evidence programs supporting regulatory, reimbursement, and global health decision-making, including the first FDA submission to incorporate network meta-analysis and WHO-commissioned reviews informing HIV and hepatitis C guidelines. He has authored more than 100 peer-reviewed publications and has worked extensively with partners across both developed and resource-limited settings.

He holds degrees in Statistics and Epidemiology and Biostatistics from McGill University and the University of British Columbia.
